Aqua classes improve strength, toning and increases flexibility of
all muscles by using the water’s resistance and aqua equipment.
We offer slow-paced and fast-paced classes. Each class is set to music
designed to increase aerobic capacity, aid in weight control, burn
calories and work on balance and coordination. Aqua classes are a
great alternative, or addition to traditional aerobics. Water allows
resistance without stress and is easier on joints and the musculoskeletal
system. We offer a wide variety of classes to meet our members needs.
- A lap swimming workout for fun and fitness. This class is for swimmers of all abilities. Low impact, easy on the joints, builds cardio fitness and muscle strength.
- Start your day with a complete workout in the water! This hour long aqua class includes aerobic intervals, strength training, abdominal conditioning and stretching.
- Pillsbury PT will be using the Aqua pool at designated times (see schedule) for one on one PT appointments. Pool can be shared with members; our only request is quiet activities.
s - OFFERED IN THE SUMMER ONLY -Parents with children 5 years of age or younger must stay in the pool or on the deck. Parents with children who can swim ages 6-10 need to stay within the facility during Supervised Swim Times after checking in with the lifeguard. All kids 6 years of age to 14 must check in with lifeguard and be assessed for swimming ability.
- Aerobics and resistance intervals are combined in this rewarding, intense, and enjoyable water workout. Let’s get fit in the water! All ages and fitness levels are welcome.
- Pillsbury Physical Therapy is offering this fee based class for ages 10-15. This Physical Therapy based program promotes proper exercise techniques to help increase strength, speed, and power. This 8 week long class starts Feb 2-March 25 from 3:00-4:00pm on Tues & Thurs. Please call Stacy Shelton at 876-1006 for more information. |
